Due to some political differences between Russia and Ukraine, the transfer of funds has become somewhat more difficult. However, this is not a reason to refuse help or a gift for loved ones or friends.
The need for money can arise suddenly. There can be many reasons for transferring money to friends or family, but the bottom line comes down to one thing - the need for a bank transfer.
Due to political disagreements between representatives of Russia and Ukraine, transferring funds has become a more time-consuming operation. But what should people do who urgently need to transfer money from Ukraine to Russia?
Prohibition of the use of Russian means of payment in Ukraine
Since October 2016, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has banned the use of Russian means of payment on the territory of Ukraine. This is primarily due to political problems, which unfortunately influenced, among other things, the bank transfer system.
How can you transfer money from Ukraine to the territory of Russia?
The transfer of funds became possible thanks to the use of the Sberbank payment system. This can be done without any particular difficulty, because branches of Sberbank are located in all twenty-four regions of Ukraine. In almost every city you can find a card-to-card transfer service. True, there is a small nuance: you can only send money to a Sberbank card, that is, you can send money only if both you and the recipient have Sberbank cards. The commission for such a service is 2 percent, which is a relatively small interest rate under such conditions. At the same time, there are limits that apply to both the client and the recipient. Let's take a closer look at them.
Sender related limits:
- The maximum transfer amount for one payment, including commission, is UAH 14,999
- The maximum transfer amount per one calendar day from one card is 149,000 hryvnia
- 100 transactions - the maximum number of transactions performed per day from one card
- The maximum amount of transfers for the entire calendar month is 249,000 hryvnia
- The maximum number of transactions performed per calendar month - 500 transactions
The limits are reasonable and will not pose any particular problem to the sender. Now let's take a look at the limits that apply to the recipient.
Recipient related limits:
- The maximum amount that can be received for one transfer is UAH 14,999
- The maximum amount of funds that can be received in one calendar day is 149,999 hryvnia
- The maximum number of transactions in one calendar day is 100 transactions
- The maximum number of transactions carried out in one calendar month - 500 transactions
It is not so difficult to make a transfer from Ukraine to Russia. To do this, you need to find a branch of the bank "Sberbank" and make a simple transaction to transfer funds.
