Pension legislation provides for the active participation of a person in the formation of his own pension. There are different types of pensions: old-age work, old-age state, disability-based, breadwinner-based, disability-based, social and some others. Let's consider how to issue the most common option - an old-age retirement pension.

Instructions

Step 1

Check the correctness of the work book. Pay attention to the following: whether the information matches the passport data; the correctness of filling in the insert in the work book; are there any references to orders in work records (number, date); the correctness of registration of records of dismissals, transfers, appointments to positions, names of professions, clarity of records and seals. The condition of the work book is of great importance.

Step 2

Take an extract from your personal account in the territorial body of the FIU at the place of residence and check if it correctly reflects information about your length of service, earnings, paid insurance premiums. If necessary, ask the employer to make changes and amendments.

Step 3

Apply in advance with the application for the appointment of your pension. Better a month before retirement age. Check if the application is registered in a special journal and receive a receipt-notification. The application, along with the necessary documents, can also be sent by mail, while the date of application is put in accordance with the date on the postage stamp.

Step 4

The application is written on a special form (you can take it from the territorial pension body of the PFR). Copies of the following documents must be attached to the application: passport; employment history; certificate of salary for continuous 5 years of work in the period up to 2002; birth certificate of a child or children; insurance certificate; residence permit if you are a foreigner or stateless person; refugee or forced migrant certificate; residence document; extract from the personal account of the PFR. Missing or missing documents can be submitted within three months. But this will delay the appointment of a pension.

Step 5

The term for consideration of an application for the appointment of a pension or for a transfer from one pension to another is considered within 10 days from the date of admission. The application for the recalculation of the pension is considered within 5 days. If you received a refusal, then within 5 working days you must be notified of this and return the documents. You have the right to appeal the decision on your application in court.
