Equip the car with everything you need and put it in order. The car must have a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher. The car is usually rented clean and with a full tank of gasoline. If the car needs to be repaired, it is better to first repair it and then offer it to potential customers: if the renter gets into an accident due to a technical malfunction of the car, then it will be your fault.
Step 3
List the minimum customer requirements. In particular, you should not trust the car to people with no driving experience or too young. As a rule, the client must be at least 21-25 years old, and his driving experience must be at least 1-3 years. You can define a clearer framework yourself. Take into account the cost of the car: for example, a business class car is often allowed to be rented only by people with at least 3-5 years of experience of accident-free driving in order to be sure of the safety of their so expensive property.
Step 4
Write an ad and place it in newspapers, magazines, websites, etc. Indicate the make of the car, color, year of manufacture, the conditions under which you will rent it out and the rental price per day. After that, everything depends only on the effectiveness of your advertising - update your ads regularly and wait for customers.
Step 5
When someone wants to rent your car, it is recommended to check their documents and take a deposit. The deposit is needed so that you can protect yourself in the event of an accident. If everything is in order with the car, the deposit will be returned. You may need copies of the documents in case the car is stolen or crashed and the client wants to hide.
