Step 1

To obtain a license for geodesy, you need to present to your territorial authority that controls this kind of activity, a corresponding application and documents with an inventory. The application and the list of the attached documents must comply with the samples approved in the order of Rosreestr dated June 29, 2010 No. П / 332 "On approval of the forms of documents used by the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography in the Process of Licensing Geodetic Activities and Cartographic Activities." List in the application all the types of work that your organization will be doing.

The list of documents - attachments to the application is given in clause 6 of the "Regulations on the licensing of geodetic activities and the Regulations on the licensing of cartographic activities", approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 21, 2006, No. 705. Those of them that are contained on two or more sheets, sew, number and seal your organization. All copies of documents must be certified by a notary. If the document is not certified, attach its original.

Step 3

If your company simultaneously performs geodetic and cartographic work, then the package of documents is prepared in a single copy. You will only need to write two statements separately for geodetic and cartographic activities and list in each type of work performed. Lists of specialists who will be engaged in a particular activity are also drawn up separately. The document confirming the experience of a specialist is a copy of his work book.

Step 4

Form all documents and the application in a separate file-case, they must be considered within 45 days from the date on which the application will be registered. During this period, the territorial inspectorate will check the fulfillment of the license conditions by your company. Prepare for the inspection a copy of the extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the period of which should not exceed a month In addition, you will need originals of diplomas and work books of specialists, documents for geodetic instruments and equipment and documents confirming their metrological examination. When checking, you will also be asked for information about officials who will supervise geodetic and cartographic works.

Step 5

After paying the state fee and checking, you will be able to obtain a formalized license to carry out these types of activities. The license is valid for 5 years.
