Step 1
The following persons have the right to receive maternity capital:
A mother who has given birth or adopted a child no earlier than January 1, 2007.
A mother who gave birth (adopted) later than January 1, 2007, a third or subsequent child, and did not receive maternity capital before.
A man can also receive maternity capital if he is the only guardian of the second or next child born after January 1, 2007.
Also, the law provides for the receipt of maternity capital by children left without custody, but not born first, and after January 1, 2007.

Required documents for obtaining maternity capital:
Application for obtaining maternity capital.
The original and 2 copies of the mother's passport, confirming her identity and citizenship of the Russian Federation.
Original and 2 copies of the birth certificate of a child born not earlier than January 1, 2007.
The original and a copy of the certificate of marriage and divorce.
Insurance certificate, original and copy.
Extract from the housing office, which confirms the child's place of residence.
Step 3
In order to receive a certificate, all the necessary documents must be submitted to the Pension Fund. The deadline for submitting an application for the issuance of maternity capital is not limited.
