Step 1
Register your spa with the tax authorities and purchase a license. The license is issued by the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation. This process can be entrusted to specialized firms and thus save time and effort.

Choose a future space for your spa. The area of the salon depends on the types of spa services that you will provide to your clients. A full-fledged spa salon in area must be at least 100 sq. M. If you want to open a spa outside the city limits, then in addition to the general area of the salon, you will need a place for hotel rooms. When choosing a room, pay close attention to its appearance, in which area of the city it is located, and which shops, beauty salons, and shopping centers surround it. For a suburban spa, consider the proximity of thermal or mineral springs, they should be within walking distance.

Purchase the equipment you need for your spa. The minimum set of equipment includes: a dressing area, a reception, a hot tub, a sauna, a bath, various equipment for thalassotherapy, mud therapy, beauty and massage parlor, equipment for a phytobar.

Hire staff. SPA specialists must have a medical education. Also, for the full operation of the spa, it is necessary to recruit technical personnel and managers. If you do not want to burden yourself with a rather long and complicated hiring process, this function can be transferred to a recruiting agency.

Run advertising campaigns. If you are not strong in marketing and do not have sales skills, it is advisable to conclude an agreement with an advertising company. Always remember that the main income of a spa depends on the number of regular customers. Therefore, develop various bonus programs, enter discount cards, arrange raffles with prizes for regular visitors. This will help you not only retain regular customers, but also attract new ones.
