- 2. Package of constituent and permissive documentation
- 3. A set of specialized equipment and furniture
- 4. Service staff (5 people)
- 5. Advertising media (business cards, leaflets)
- 6. Developed order receipt form
Instructions
Step 1
Start preparing to open your own dry cleaner by solving the most difficult problem - finding a room for it. The difficulty lies in the fact that this room must meet a number of requirements, observing which, you and your institution may be out of reach of the mass of potential customers. At least 50 meters should separate dry cleaning clothes from any residential buildings or catering establishments, and in such a place it will most likely not be noticed soon. Nevertheless, it is possible to find successful solutions that satisfy this condition.
Step 2
Make sure that the necessary engineering communications are established in the room that you have found for the equipment in it for dry cleaning. The equipment used for cleaning clothes is equivalent to production equipment, and therefore consumes a lot of electricity. In addition, the functioning of dry cleaning requires an uninterrupted supply of water and a powerful system for its drainage.
Step 3
Purchase equipment for dry cleaning without trying to provide it with huge production capacity yet. To begin with, a set of the most necessary "units" will be enough - a machine for processing clothes with perchlorethylene, a large ironing table, a compressor and a steam generator, several steam-air dummies and a stain removal booth. Add to that the furniture for storing clothes and a counter for receiving / dispensing and your dry cleaning is ready to go.
Step 4
Hire employees who will serve the dry cleaning service. It will take two workers (shift workers), two ironers and a clothes clerk. It is better to select service personnel with experience, since a defect in working with customers' clothes can cause serious trouble.
