Most often, banknotes with a face value of 1,000 rubles become the object of fraudsters' forgeries. In this regard, in August 2010, a modified 1,000-ruble note was issued. There are several ways to distinguish genuine from counterfeit money. Most of the "tips" are located on the face of the banknote.
It is necessary
Bank of Russia banknote of 1000 rubles
Instructions
Step 1
Look at the image of the coat of arms of Yaroslavl at an angle. The shiny stripe, crossing the coat of arms across, moves up and down when tilted. On the same side of the banknote, to the left of the image of the monument to Yaroslav the Wise, against a green background, when tilted, yellow-blue stripes are visible, which are a continuation of the colored stripes located below on a darker field.
Step 2
Take a look at the bill under the gap. Next to the watermark in the form of a portrait of Yaroslav the Wise, there should be another, lighter watermark - the number 1000. Look at the banknote against the light source. Under the coat of arms of Yaroslavl, you will see the inscription "1000", consisting of intangible micro-holes.
Step 3
Check the edges of the banknote. Thin oblique strokes and the inscription "Ticket of the Bank of Russia" have an increased relief, which helps people with visual impairments to verify the authenticity of their own money.
Step 4
If you have a magnifying device at hand, pay attention to the building depicted behind the chapel. It is a graphic drawing with the inscriptions "Yaroslavl" and "1000", located against the background of other small elements. When zoomed in, look at the same time at the top and bottom of the ornamental ribbon, where there should be a microtext with the number 1000.
Step 5
Flip the bill over. The alternating numbers 1000, separated by rhombuses, should be clearly visible on the right side of the security thread. Look at this strip through the gap. On a genuine bill, the numbers and rhombuses become light and the background dark.
