Almost every company during its existence has been checked against the accrued and paid taxes with the inspectorate. Typically, reconciliation helps to sort out confusing payments and charges. Sometimes the tax authorities force this operation. This may be due to a transfer to another inspectorate or because of any suspicion on the part of the tax authorities.

Instructions

Step 1

To go through a reconciliation with the tax office, you need to submit a written application to the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate. It is drawn up in any form, but it must necessarily contain the details, as well as a list of taxes for which you want to check. The tax authority prepares a reconciliation statement within five business days after receiving your request.

Step 2

Next, you need to prepare the following documents: copies of tax returns, payment documents confirming the fact of payment of taxes, fines and penalties, as well as reconciliation statements (if any).

Step 3

After that, on the appointed day, you go along with all the documents to the tax office and verify the data. If you agree, you will be asked to sign the reconciliation statement in duplicate (one for you, the other for the inspection). In case of disagreement, you will need to provide the documents on the basis of which you made the tax calculations.
