Step 1

After you receive a certificate indicating your participation in the mortgage lending mechanism, the first amount of money will be credited to the account, the amount of which is determined by the Ministry of Defense. It should be noted that this figure is growing every year, and now the government of the Russian Federation provides for its increase by 30% in 2012 with further growth in 2013 and 2014. This means that the chances of acquiring exactly the desired apartment or house are increasing.

Step 3

If the money provided is still not enough to buy the home you want, add your personal funds. The main advantage of the system is that the debt will be repaid not by an individual, but by the state represented by the Ministry of Defense.

Funds will be credited to the account within 20 years. Please note that if you quit early, you will have to pay off the remaining loan yourself. However, this does not apply to exceptional cases when dismissal occurs due to health conditions, significant family circumstances, as well as due to length of service.

Step 6

In order to warn yourself against possible debts, which you will not be able to pay, objectively calculate in advance your ability to repay the loan if you suddenly have to leave the service and the reason for dismissal will not apply to exceptional cases.
