In the fall of 2011, by a special resolution, the government made it possible for people to repay any loan ahead of schedule. In this case, the interest should be recalculated by the bank: a person should not pay for the time until he used the money.

Step 3

Come to the bank with your passport and loan agreement. Write a statement indicating how much you want to deposit ahead of schedule. The bank has the right to consider your application within a month, but can recalculate the interest immediately. If it is inconvenient for you to come to the bank in person, send your application by registered mail with notification. This way you can be sure that your message has been delivered.

Step 4

Deposit the desired amount into your credit account. After that, in case of partial early repayment of the loan, you will receive a new payment schedule in accordance with the recalculation of interest. At the same time, the bank itself can decide whether the loan term will be shortened or monthly payments will be reduced. When the loan is fully repaid, ask for a certificate that the debt has been fully paid. Such a document will be a guarantee for you that unreasonable claims will not appear against you in the future.

Step 5

If the bank refuses to recalculate the interest on the loan in connection with its partial or full early repayment, you have the right to go to court. Russian laws in this case will be on the side of the one who took out the loan.
