There are many radio stations, and everyone can find for themselves the wave that they like. Someone likes rock, someone - classical music, someone - popular dance tunes, and someone generally prefers to use the radio to get information, and not to listen to music. But suppose you decide to open your own radio station. In addition to creating content, you will have to do one more, equally important matter - come up with a suitable name for it.
Instructions
Step 1
Remember that the first thing you should start from when choosing a name for a radio is the subject matter. Let's say your radio station specializes in classical music. Then the name must be chosen accordingly. A word like "Energy" would hardly work for such a radio station. It may be worth using a musical term, the name of a composer or performer of classical music, variations on the word "classical", etc. This is also the case with other topics.
Step 2
Try looking for other options as well. Perhaps your radio station does not specialize in any one musical or other genre (there are, for example, radio stations that read exclusively literary works), but all of its content is connected by some general mood. Then maybe something like radio "Melancholia" or, for example, radio "Positive".
Step 3
Use a play on words. For example, in one famous TV series, the radio station was called "Radio Active". You can think of something like that.
Step 4
Be clear about your target audience. Who will it be - teenagers under twenty or women of Balzac's age? The name should appeal to them. It is unlikely that young people will be attracted by a radio called Nostalgia. By the way, if the target audience of the radio is youth, then it makes sense to use a foreign name. But it can alienate the older audience. Children's radio does not have to be called "The Sun", after all, half of the kindergartens in our country are called this way. However, the title should be fun, joyful, and easy to remember.
Step 5
Think about which region or city your radio station will broadcast to. You can name it according to its geographic location. Examples of such stations are Ekho Moskvy or the non-existent Peter FM station from the film of the same name.
Step 6
Do not despair if all ideas are exhausted, and you can't find a name. Give the radio station your name. This was done, for example, by the beloved Alla Borisovna Pugacheva, who called her radio station “Radio Alla”.
