People use money every day, but few of them thought about what exactly is depicted on each bill. Initially, it was conceived on money to print images of great people, but over time this idea was forgotten, and monuments of architecture located in different cities replaced human portraits.

Step 1
All images on any Russian banknotes are in one way or another connected precisely with religion, history and holy places, but before disassembling the images of each banknote separately, it is worth noting that each of them has the most important currency symbol - a two-headed eagle. The peculiarity of this eagle is the absence of a crown. This is easily explained by the fact that the uncrowned eagle means the Provisional Government, and its image on the money has become a symbol of the significance and temporary connection of the Bank of Russia.
Step 2
In modern Russia, the smallest is the ten-ruble bill. It depicts the city of Krasnoyarsk. The reverse side shows the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station and the bridge over the Yenisei. It is this bridge that is included in the book "The Best Bridges in the World" published by UNESCO. On the front side you can see the image of the Paraskeva Pyatnitsa chapel. This chapel was built in honor of the saint who was the patroness of pets and families.
Step 3
The fifty-ruble bill depicts St. Petersburg. On the obverse is the symbol of the Neva - the base of the Rostral Column with the figure of a woman who is seated on a throne. Behind this column you can see the Peter and Paul Fortress. On the reverse side, the image of the former stock exchange, located on the embankment, was placed.
Step 4
The one-ruble bill bears the image of Moscow. On the reverse side there is the building of the Bolshoi Theater and the square in front of it, and on the front side there is Apollo with a chariot - a sculpture from the pediment of the Bolshoi Theater.
Step 5
The city of Arkhangelsk became the representative of the 500-ruble note. On the front side there is a monument to Peter the Great, located against the backdrop of a sailing ship and the sea station. On the reverse side of the bill you can see the Solovetsky Monastery. It is one of the greatest Russian shrines.
Step 6
The 1000-ruble banknote depicts the city of Yaroslavl, namely: on the obverse - a monument to Yaroslav the Wise, and on the reverse - the Church of John the Baptist.
Step 7
The largest Russian denomination of our time is the five-thousandth one. On it you can see the Tsarsky Amur Bridge, the length of which is 2,700 meters, and the monument to Nikolai Nikolaevich Muravyov-Amursky. All these attractions are located in Khabarovsk.
