MTPL insurance is compulsory for all motorists in Russia, and therefore the amount of insurance is the same in all regions. Even if rates change over time, the principle of calculating insurance remains the same. And it is very easy to calculate this amount yourself in order to be fully prepared when concluding an agreement with an agent.

Instructions

Step 1

Take the base rate. It is determined depending on the type of vehicle, as well as its belonging to an individual or legal entity. Therefore, there is a table of basic tariff rates (TB). Let's say this is a taxi, then the rate is 2965 rubles, which is more expensive than an ordinary passenger car (1980 rubles). This difference is due to the statistics of taxi participation in accidents.

Step 2

Determine the coefficient of the territory (Kt). If you are an individual, then it is determined by your place of residence. In Moscow - the coefficient is 2, for other localities the coefficients are set in the table of coefficients of the territory.

Step 3

Set the number of drivers (Kv) using the vehicle. It may be that the list is limited to a certain number, or not. This coefficient is called - "coefficient depending on the availability of information about the number of persons allowed to drive the vehicle". If there are no restrictions - 1, 7, if the number of drivers is limited - 1.

Step 4

Determine the coefficient - (Kvs), i.e. age and experience. If there are no restrictions on the number of drivers, then the coefficient is 1. The length of service is determined by the date of issue of the driver's license. Comparative evaluation of the coefficients: - a driver under 22 years old inclusive, experience up to 3 years inclusive, coefficient - 1, 7;

- a driver under 22 years old inclusive, more than 3 years of experience - 1, 3;

- a driver over 22 years of experience up to 3 years inclusive - 1, 5;

- a driver over 22 years old, more than 3 years of experience - 1, 0. If several people are allowed, with certain requirements, then the maximum coefficient is taken as a basis.

Step 5

Calculate the coefficient - (Km), which depends on the engine power, either in horsepower or in kilowatts. The power is indicated in the vehicle passport or in its registration certificate. Power factor distribution: - up to 50 hp the coefficient is - 0, 6;

- 51 - 70 hp the coefficient is - 0, 9;

- 71 - 100 coefficient is - 1.0;

- 101 - 120 coefficient is equal to - 1, 2;

- 121 - 150 coefficient is equal to - 1, 4;

- from 151 - 1, 6.

Step 6

Determine the coefficient - (Kbm), which depends on whether or not there were payments for OSAGO. There are certain classes of insurance: - the first year of insurance - class 3, coefficient 1.

- for each year of insurance without payments, i.e. no accidents, etc. the class is raised by one level and a discount of 5% is made. The last class is 13, the coefficient is 0, 5. The highest class is "M", the coefficient is 2, 45. When concluding a contract for 1 year, the cost of OSAGO insurance = TB? ? Kvs? Kt? Kbm.
