Many people may need to make a money transfer abroad. This can be either for the purpose of helping a friend or relative living there, or for paying for various goods and services. Of course, in the case of such a money transfer, you may encounter certain difficulties, but if you know how to proceed, you will choose the most suitable method of transferring money.
It is necessary
- - last name, first name and address of the person or organization where you are transferring money;
- - bank details of the addressee's account;
- - passport;
- - money for transfer.
Instructions
Step 1
If you need to transfer money quickly, or your addressee does not have a bank account, use the services of any money transfer system. First, check with the person to whom you are sending money, the branches of which money transfer systems are represented in his city. Most often there are Western Union offices, but also abroad, and in Russia there are translation systems Migom and Anelik.
Step 2
Compare rates for translation systems. This information can be obtained either from their branch or from their websites.
Step 3
Contact the branch of the fast money transfer system you have chosen, or the branch of the bank that works with it. Come with enough money for the transfer and payment of the commission, as well as a passport. Fill out the form offered to you, indicating the name and surname of the addressee, his place of residence and the amount you want to send. Pay the required amount and in return receive a receipt, which will contain the number of the money item. Give this number to the addressee so that he can receive money in his country at the office for receiving money transfers.
Step 4
If you know the recipient's bank details, send him the money by money order. To do this, go to the bank where you have an account. Indicate in the application for money transfer that the employee will give you, the name and surname of the person or the name of the organization where you are sending money, the name of the bank, the SWIFT code, the addressee's account number. After that, check with the bank employee how much the commission for the money transfer will be. If necessary, top up your account through the cashier.
In a few days, your addressee will receive the money in his bank account.
