Step 1

To calculate how much to pay for the consumed electricity, you need to record the meter values on a monthly basis. It is recommended that you take readings and pay the bills on the first of every month. The consumed amount of electricity is calculated as follows. From the readings that you just took from the meter, subtract the readings that were recorded last month. The difference between these values is the number of kilowatts spent per month.
Step 3
Multiply the resulting number by the current tariff. You can get it by phone from the electricity supplier in your city. The total amount should be paid.
Step 4
After that, fill out the receipt, enter all the counter values recorded at the moment. Write at what rate you pay - single-phase, two-phase or three-phase, the cost of one kilowatt and the amount to be paid.
Step 5
Pay for the receipt in any way convenient for you - through a savings bank, Internet, telephone, special payment terminals. Contact your service provider for receipts. They will provide a subscriber book, consisting of receipt forms. However, today most cash desks accept payment without any papers at all, it is enough to name the meter readings and your address, and the amount of payment for electricity will be automatically calculated for you.
