This code indicates the type of activity of the legal entity and may be the same as the code of competing organizations because you are engaged in the same types of business.

Step 1
The objects of OKPO are legal entities, organizations, individual entrepreneurs, representative offices, branches. The OKPO code is intended to identify an economic entity of the Russian Federation, this code is used in information systems of Rosstat, it is used as an identifier in the case of interdepartmental exchange.
Step 2
You can find the OKPO organization on one of the sites that provide such services, for example, www.okpo.ru, which provides round-the-clock access to the database of Russian enterprises and organizations online. On this site you can get information from EGRIP, USRLE, USRPO. It is possible to search both by the OKPO code and by other parameters: INN, PSRN, address, full name, company name.
Step 3
You can find out the OKPO of the organization by making a request to the Rosstat department to receive a letter with statistics codes. In order to send such a request, you need to clarify with your branch of Rosstat the requirements for the necessary documents. You can come to the Rosstat office in person, or send a request by letter or by requesting it on the website.
Step 4
In order to find out the OKPO organization, you need to provide the following documents: LLC and individual entrepreneurs provide an up-to-date extract from the register with the latest changes made.
Step 5
OJSC and CJSC provide: an up-to-date extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities with data on the latest changes, a copy of the Articles of Association, as well as an extract from the register of shareholders of the company.

Along with the OKPO codes of your organization, the Rosstat information letter will contain the following information: OKATO code (All-Russian classifier of objects of administrative-territorial division), OKVED codes (All-Russian classifier of economic activities), OKOPF codes (All-Russian classifier of organizational and legal forms), OKFS codes (All-Russian classifier of forms of ownership).
