You can check if you have tax debts using the Federal Tax Service website. It is difficult to overestimate the convenience of using the service: now you can get the necessary information without writing a letter of inquiry, without visiting the tax office in person, and without making a phone call several times a day. You can use this service if you are a citizen of the Russian Federation.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the website of the Federal Tax Service. On the right side of the main window, you will see an interactive field of available services and automatic services. Find among them the "Personal account of the taxpayer" and follow the corresponding link.
Step 2
In the window that opens, confirm your consent to the transfer of personal data to the FTS server by clicking the "Yes, I agree" button. In the next window, enter your taxpayer details:
• TIN;
• Surname and name (if desired - patronymic);
• Region of registration.
Also enter the verification code - captcha. And click the "Find" button.
Step 3
In a few seconds, the system will generate a table by which you can check if there are debts for transport, land, property taxes, as well as personal income tax. The table has four columns:
• Name of the tax;
• Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service;
• Amount of tax (penalty interest);
• Date information.
It should be noted that payment information is not updated every day. Therefore, even if you have paid off the debt, the system will automatically display it until the next database update.
Step 4
If necessary, form payment documents for the payment of debts. To do this, you need Adobe Reader installed on your computer and a connected printer that will print the document.
Step 5
If, after entering your personal data, you did not see a table listing the debts, then you do not have debts for the indicated taxes. However, just in case, play it safe and check the information again in a few days.
