An ATM is a software and hardware complex that is designed for automated receipt and issuance of cash. All transactions take place with or without payment cards. The ATM is connected in a specific sequence.
It is necessary
- - ATM;
- - software;
- - modem and other equipment.
Instructions
Step 1
Connecting an ATM includes many different aspects: connection to processing, renting a place for an ATM, communication services of an ATM with processing, security and other similar services.
Step 2
The ATM can be connected via GSM modems. In this case, GSM modems are connected to the ATM and to the network of the processing center through a router, after which the work proceeds via a standard Dial-Up connection. The advantage of such a connection is the security of traffic and the simplicity of the project implementation, and the disadvantage is the high cost of the connection.
Step 3
It is also possible to connect an ATM via a GPRS modem. When implementing this method, the ATM is connected to the processing center via the Internet. The advantage of this connection method is that thanks to the use of packet data transfer protocol, it is possible to maintain a constant connection between the ATM and the host, and at the same time pay only for real traffic.
Step 4
Connection can also be made through the universal communication server CITYNET SYSTEM VRSION 3. As a rule, this method of connecting ATMs is used in large shopping centers and hypermarkets. You can start with several POS terminals, the number of which is gradually increasing.
Step 5
After installing ATMs and connecting the appropriate communication equipment to them, special software is installed. Thus, the CITYNET SYSTEM VRSION 3 communication server operates on the Microsoft Windows NT / 2000 / XP platform.
Step 6
The software can be installed either on an NT-ATM computer or on a stand-alone specialized computer. To connect a POS terminal to the SV.3, asynchronous multiport adapters are installed.
