Have you already come to terms with the fact that money is flowing out of your wallet, like water through your fingers? Have you tried many times to start saving, but in vain? Perhaps you just chose the wrong strategy …
1. Take control of your emotions. Until you learn to manage your emotions, you will not be able to effectively manage your finances. Psychologists believe that money often serves as a universal remedy for depression, as well as for self-doubt, low self-esteem. How often it was under the influence of emotions that we bought something expensive, but completely useless, they say, "I can afford it, I am better, I am richer!" That's just it. Therefore, find another way for yourself to get rid of negativity and increase self-esteem: for example, take up dancing. At the same time, you will get a wonderful figure!
2. Do you really need it? Write down everything you buy every day on a piece of paper, then go over it and cross it out with a firm hand. Really unnecessary. We are not talking, for example, about switching to laundry soap, but won't you live without the most expensive hair shampoo advertised?
3. Buy only good things at their real price. You should not overpay for the company, but it is also unreasonable to rush for cheapness. Remember what Rothschild said, "I'm not rich enough to buy cheap things." If you are offered a product at a minimal price, be careful: the low price may be due to the same quality, be it cucumbers or a new refrigerator.
4. Save - with the whole family! Yes, it is not a very pleasant experience to sort out your family budget, but it will significantly reduce your expenses. You must know how much and on what you are spending, and also manage your household wisely. For example, if during the repair you are able to glue the wallpaper yourself, why pay the masters for this?
5. A little about cards … Know that when paying with a card, a person spends more than if he paid in cash - this is the conclusion made by psychologists. Therefore, if you prefer a non-cash payment method, do not be lazy to install a special application on your smartphone that will track where, when and how much you spent.
6.… and about coupons. How many times have you made a purchase just because the store gave you a discount coupon? This technique is often used by various stores, often insisting that the purchase must be made in the near future, otherwise the discount will simply "burn out"! At this point, it is important to turn on your head and soberly assess the situation. If you don't need anything, you better present this coupon to a friend.
