Instructions

Step 1

Check out the procedure for closing a representative office of a foreign company in Russia. In accordance with the current legislation, a representative office may be closed in the following cases: - upon the expiration of the accreditation period (if you are not interested in its renewal); - in connection with the liquidation of a foreign company; - by decision of the founders of the company.

Step 2

Notify the FGU SRC under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation of your decision to close the representative office. Pay the state fee for paperwork and receive a receipt. Receive letters from FGU GRP to notify you about the closure of the representative office. They will need to be sent to the tax, migration and customs authorities, as well as to extra-budgetary funds for the final calculation, and receive appropriate notifications. Contact the bank where you have an account that must be closed in accordance with the terms of the previously concluded agreement.

Step 3

Prepare other documents required to close the representative office, namely: - the original permission to open your representative office; - the original certificate of the entry of your representative office into the consolidated state register; - accreditation cards for employees of your company representative office, as well as their family members (if any); - valid multiple-entry visas for employees and their family members (if any); - a certified copy of the power of attorney to an authorized person to manage the closure of the representative office; - the seal of the representative office.

Step 4

Make a list of documents and submit them to the FGU PIU under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. After the representative office of your company is excluded from the relevant registers, as well as from the EGRPO (upon notification of the tax authorities), its activities in the territory of the Russian Federation will be considered completed.
