If you borrowed money, arrange not only the receipt of money, but also their return. Otherwise, you will have to rely only on the decency of the lender, which can lead to undesirable consequences.
Instructions
Step 1
Calculate your possibilities before borrowing large sums of money. Decide how long you will be able to pay off the lender in full. If you are going to borrow money at interest, immediately ask the lender how early repayment will affect the final amount. Find out if you have the possibility of an early return or, on the contrary, a postponement, and what circumstances can be taken into account in this case. For example, if you were unable to repay your money on time due to illness or loss of your job, would that be considered a good enough reason to delay your principal repayment.
Step 2
After you and the lender have come to a decision that satisfies both parties, receive the money and issue a receipt. Indicate the full name and passport data (yours and the creditor), the amount (in numbers and in words), the terms and conditions of the return. Date and sign. Leave a blank line for the lender's notes on receipt of money. As soon as you return the agreed amount to him, he will be obliged to sign in this column and return the receipt to you.
Step 3
Check carefully if this is the receipt that you drew up when applying for the loan. There are situations when an unscrupulous creditor, wanting to recover afterwards the amount of the debt through the court, returns a good color photocopy of this document. That is why it is recommended not only to draw up receipts by hand and then give them to the lender, but to certify them with a notary.
Step 4
If you have not applied to a notary, then in order to formalize the repayment of a debt, it is best to demand a receipt for money from the creditor, drawn up by him in his own hand. Let him also indicate in it his and your full name, passport data, as well as the fact that the agreed amount has been fully returned and he has no claims to you. After that, he will have to sign and date. Get a receipt from him and return the money to him in full.
