Working for yourself is the dream of many. Any citizen of the Russian Federation who has reached the age of majority and decides to open his own business without forming a legal entity can become an individual entrepreneur. To do this, you need to issue an appropriate certificate at the tax office.
Instructions
Step 1
First, choose a taxation system. It can be UTII (single tax on imputed income) or the simplified taxation system (STS). They allow you not to hire an additional accountant, but to pay a quarterly fixed percentage of tax on the income received on your own. But you have the right to hire other citizens under employment contracts. Work as an individual entrepreneur is counted in the total length of service, and payments to the pension fund give the right to receive a pension.
Step 2
Check with the tax office for a complete list of required documents and the procedure for their registration.
Step 3
Pay the state fee at the Savings Bank.
Step 4
Make a copy of your passport (all completed pages) and have it certified by a notary.
Step 5
Write an application for registration of an individual entrepreneur, as well as an application for the application of your chosen taxation system.
Step 6
After collecting all the necessary documents, submit them to the tax office at your place of residence.
Step 7
After submitting the documents, do not forget to take a receipt from the tax inspector, which will be necessary to obtain all certificates. After the expiration of the prescribed period (five to seven working days), you can pick up certificates of state registration of an individual as an individual entrepreneur, as well as on making an entry in the unified state register of individual entrepreneurs and on assigning a TIN. Please note: you must be given three certificates.
Step 8
If you do not appear for the documents in person within the allotted time, they must be sent by mail to the address of registration.
