Outwardly, the barcode is, at first glance, a logicless sequence of black stripes of varying thickness on a white background. However, in fact, this sequence contains internal principles of construction, which are the same for all barcodes. And thanks to them, each barcode is unique.
Instructions
Step 1
To make a barcode, you need to contact the UNISCAN / GS1 RUS organization. It is she, being the only representative of the international GS1 system in Russia, who issues globally unique bit codes for goods and services.
Step 2
After you have gotten an idea of the system and international standards for barcoding products, having contacted UNISCAN to make barcodes for products, you have to take the following steps: • Fill out an application to join the association in the prescribed form.
• Choose from the entire range of your products the list for which you want to make barcodes.
• Pay the registration fee and the cost of an annual stay in the association. Send supporting documents to UNISCAN / GS1 RUS.
Step 3
After registering in the UNISCAN system and receiving all the necessary information to create and print barcodes, download a special utility that allows you to make a barcode using the entered information. The program is called BarCode. With its help you can get a graphic image of the barcode. The resulting barcode can be applied to the product packaging or displayed on labels.
