To support families in which the second and subsequent child was born, the state has developed some programs. These include maternity capital. Some mothers, having a certificate in their hands, do not have information about where to spend the maternity capital.
In 2015, the amount of maternity capital is 453,026 rubles. As a rule, the funds indicated in the received certificate are not handed out. That is why you will not be able to spend them on any of your needs, the state is very closely following this. According to the law, it is possible to cash out maternity capital three years after the birth of a child. But there are exceptions here, for example, if you want to purchase housing on a mortgage, you can use the certificate immediately after receiving it.
Improving living conditions
After three years, you can improve your living conditions with the certificate. The main condition is that this housing is located on the territory of Russia.
To use the funds, you must collect a package of documents. It includes:
- an application for the disposal of the funds indicated in the certificate (you can get the form from the FIU);
- certificate;
- insurance pension certificate of the person who received the certificate;
- passport;
- a written commitment from a person who has entered into an agreement on the acquisition or construction of housing in shared ownership for family members. This document must be notarized.
If you are buying a home, please also provide the following documents:
- property purchase and sale agreement;
- a copy of the certificate of ownership of the person from whom you are purchasing housing.
Child's education
You can also spend money on educating your child, and this can be done not only in relation to the school, university, but also preschool education. If you gave birth to a baby, he turned three years old, and the older brother went to college, you can pay for his education with the amount indicated in the maternity capital. To do this, you must collect the following documents:
- application for the disposal of funds;
- certificate;
- SNILS of the person who received the maternity capital;
- passport;
- an agreement with an educational institution;
- license of an educational institution;
- if the institution is non-state, you will need a certificate of state accreditation.
The funded part of the labor pension of the person who received the certificate
You can also use maternity capital for the funded part of the pension, and you can send funds not only to the Pension Fund, but also to another non-state fund. To do this, contact the Pension Fund, submit the following documents:
- statement on the disposal of funds;
- certificate;
- insurance pension certificate of the mother;
- passport.
Note that you may not use all of the maternity capital. Let's say you spend one part on a funded pension, and the other on your child's education.
