The Constitution guarantees social security in connection with the loss of the breadwinner to his disabled dependents. Legislative acts on the provision of pensions for various categories of citizens mandatorily provide for a pension assigned upon the loss of a breadwinner.

Instructions

Step 1

Depending on who the deceased breadwinner was (an employee under an employment contract or a government or municipal civil servant, military or law enforcement officer), survivor pension benefits are regulated by different laws.

Step 2

To calculate the pension for a deceased employee or civil servant, determine the amount of insurance contributions (pension capital) paid for him to the Pension Fund before the day of death. Calculate the standard insurance experience of the deceased until the day of death, based on the condition that the full year of life of the deceased after reaching the age of 19 is equal to 4 months of insurance experience: add 4 months for each year to 12 months - this will be the standard experience, which should not exceed 180 months. Divide the statutory seniority by 180 and multiply by the estimated payout period of 228 months. Then divide the pension capital by the ratio and by the number of dependents. Add to this result the base size, which is a fixed amount indexed annually.

Step 3

To calculate the pension for the dependents of a serviceman or law enforcement officer, calculate the deceased's monetary allowance by summing up his official salary, salary by rank and percentage increase in length of service. If the death of the breadwinner was due to illness or injury (injury) received during the service, calculate the loss of the breadwinner for each dependent in the amount of 40 percent of the calculated monetary allowance. If the illness or injury of the deceased breadwinner is not related to service, calculate the survivor's pension for each dependent in the amount of 30 percent of the calculated monetary allowance.
