Mobile bank is a special application for mobile phones or a website on the Internet for clients of a certain credit institution. Using this tool, you can make most of the currency transactions without the need to visit a banking institution. To carry out transactions, a mobile phone number, set by the client, is used.
Instructions
Step 1
Log in to your personal account of the mobile bank using the login and password provided by the banking organization. Go to the settings section and find the option to change your phone number. Please note that in order to set a new number, you will need the previous one, which you specified when connecting to the mobile banking service. After you specify a new combination, an SMS message with a verification code will be sent to your old number, which must be entered in the appropriate field. However, this method is not provided by all banks. Some organizations have already abandoned it because it is insecure.
Step 2
If you do not have access to your old phone number, you should restore it. If, for example, you have lost your SIM card, you can contact one of the cellular communication salons of your mobile operator and write an application to restore the lost number. If this is not possible, use the additional methods of setting a new phone number without using the old one.
Step 3
Call the bank's support center listed on the organization's website. Tell the operator that you have lost access to the default phone number. Technical support specialists, if desired, will change the login and password for entering the mobile bank, as well as set the number you want. Remember that in order to verify your identity, you will need to provide your passport data, previous phone number, as well as the personal code word that you selected when completing the client agreement at the bank.
Step 4
Pay attention to other ways to change your mobile bank phone number. For example, you can contact the technical support of the bank via e-mail or visit the branch nearest to you on your own. You will be asked to draw up an application for changing your personal data according to the sample established by your bank. After checking the document, the bank operators will change the number in your personal account.
Step 5
If you do not remember your previous phone number (it is hidden in your personal account), visiting a bank branch will become mandatory. Usually, in such cases, the bank terminates the old agreement with the client and draws up a new one. In the new contract, indicate the desired phone number. Please note that this will also change your bank details, and all funds in the old account will be issued to you by the bank's employees.
