Step 1

Submit your application and required documents to the tax office of your place of residence at any time. In addition to the basic documents required to obtain a property deduction for the purchase of real estate, provide additional ones. They are: a loan agreement on a mortgage; certificate from the bank about the amount of interest payments for the entire last year; copies of all payment documents confirming the payment of interest to the bank. If possible, provide a bank statement confirming payments.

Step 2

Wait while the tax office checks your documents and decides whether to return the deduction to you. It will take about a month.

Step 3

If you want income tax not to be deducted from your current salary, take a certificate from the tax office and take it to the accounting department. If the deduction cannot be spent for the year, its payment is transferred, according to the Tax Code, to subsequent periods until its full payment.

Step 4

If you want to receive money into your account, you will receive an amount equal to 13% of your annual income. If the deduction cannot be spent, it is also carried over to subsequent periods.
