A unique accrual identifier is a special number that almost all payment orders in the Russian Federation have. Knowing the UIN, you can pay traffic fines via the Internet using the Sberbank Online service.
What does UIN mean
The assignment of a unique accrual identifier to payment documents was introduced in 2014 by order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. This innovation made it possible to correctly determine budget receipts and simplify the accrual system. Previously, when making electronic money transfers to Russian budgetary organizations, it was necessary to fill in many requisite fields, but now it is enough to indicate the UIN for the payment to take place.
The unique identifier consists of ten digits, combinations of which allow banks to read information about the payment being made. The first three digits of the number indicate the steward's code (for example, for the traffic police it is 182), the fourth indicates the organization receiving the payment, and in the rest, information about the purpose of the transfer and its other characteristics are encrypted.
Not all documents have a serial number, designated as UIN. In particular, when a fine is imposed for violation of traffic rules, a citizen receives a protocol indicating the amount and details for payment. At the top of the document is the number of the corresponding protocol, which in this case is the unique identifier of the accrual.
Payment of traffic fines through the UIN
You can pay the debt to the car inspection through the Internet site "Sberbank Online". Go to https://online.sberbank.ru and enter your personal account. The service can only be used by Sberbank clients, therefore, it is necessary to issue a payment card or account at any branch of the organization, along with which a login and password will be provided to enter your personal account.
If the service has not been connected before, you should follow the registration link and follow the further recommendations of the site. To complete the procedure, you will need the numbers of the bank card and the mobile phone attached to it. Once in your personal account, go to the "Transfers and Payments" menu section. Scroll down the page and select the item "GIBDD" from the list of services, then click on the fines link.
In the field for selecting a service, specify the "Payment by receipt" parameter. Next, select the bank card from which the funds will be debited. In the "Document number" field, enter the number of the decree issued by the traffic police, or UIN, depending on how the identifier is indicated on the notification. Click Continue. Fill in the details of the payment amount and confirm the transfer by entering a verification code, which will be sent in the form of SMS. Upon successful payment, a receipt will be displayed on the screen, which, if desired, can be printed.
