Step 1
Sturgeon breeds grow to their maximum commercial size in 3-4 years. The cost of 1 kg of fish depends on the region of sale and is 1, 5-2 thousand rubles. They sell not only sturgeon meat, but also dressed skins and caviar, that is, almost everything goes to profit.
Step 2
Sturgeon can be bred in natural or artificial reservoirs. To run fry into a reservoir, it must be cleaned by water discharge and mechanical cleaning. After filling the lake with water, run the clams, worms, and plants for the pond.
Step 3
You should buy fry and launch them into the reservoir from May until the onset of autumn. In hot weather, it is better to transport fry from the nursery at night, when the air temperature drops to minimum levels. During transportation, it is necessary to ensure that the water in the container in which the fry is transported does not heat up.
Step 4
After the fry are launched into the pond, they need to be properly fed. The diet should be from small fresh fish fry and specially balanced feed. When feeding, you should observe the doses recommended on the package, depending on the number of fry. Overfeeding is harmful to fish, as well as underfeeding.
Step 5
Before the onset of cold weather, you need to make an artificial container for wintering in a warm room.

When moving sturgeons to a container for wintering, it is necessary to keep all the livestock in a 5% salt solution for 2-3 days. This will avoid infection and death of fish during wintering. When wintering in a warm pond, the fish gains weight all year round.
Step 7
If it is planned to keep sturgeons in a cold pond during winter, then it will be lime. The fish needs to be provided with complete rest. In a cold pond, sturgeon fish sleeps and does not gain weight, but it does not lose either.
Step 8
In spring, resume feeding the fish.
