You can make amazing things from plastic bottles: a palm tree, a vase, a scoop for bulk materials, or even jewelry. But the most amazing piece is a real house made entirely of bottles. The construction of such a house is somewhat similar to laying a brick house: the bottles are filled with sand and fastened together with a special solution.
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to get the material - a lot of bottles. In this case, the shape and size can be any. So for the construction of a medium-sized one-story house, it can take you about five, or even eight thousand bottles. Fill each of them with dry sand to the full, periodically tamping it, close the lid and start laying this impromptu "brick". Bottles should be fastened with a solution prepared from sawdust, clay, earth and cement. The latter needs to be taken a little, for an additional bundle.
Step 2
Start with the columns. You can make them as much as you like, but not less than three. Then dig a hole with a rounded shape and a diameter of 60-100 cm for the foundation. The diameter of the pit should be at least 20 cm larger than the diameter of the support.
Step 3
Insert reinforcement under the column in the center of the foundation. Then place 10-11 bottles around it. First, the bottle is placed on a concrete pad with its neck in the center of the reinforcement. Twine around the neck of the stacked bottle makes a turn or knot. Consider this moment: the caps of neighboring bottles must be in contact with each other. Arrange the rest of the bottles in the same way. The first circle is ready.
Step 4
Pour concrete between the bottles, then wait a few hours until the cement sags. Now you can continue working on the column. It is possible to lay fragments of bricks or other construction waste between the bottles when erecting supports. After erecting all the columns, let the cement settle again. After that, the columns can be covered with plaster.
Step 5
The next step is to build the walls. Just before that, you should already have a ready-made foundation. The wider it is, the better. When building walls, bottles are placed on the mortar mentioned above. Ordinary concrete can be used. So that you do not have any special problems with the interior decoration of the house, leave the necks outside. After building the walls, tie the neck of the bottles with wire or twine. So you get a kind of crate, on which it will be easy to install some kind of finishing material. Further, the walls are plastered from the outside and from the inside.
Step 6
The roof is erected similarly to the roof of a brick house. Supports are being erected as well. Only instead of tiles or slate, you will use all the same bottles. Having made the roof, you just have to finish the house.
