An overdraft is provided by a bank in the form of funds to a current account opened with this bank for payment of settlement documents by an organization, a private entrepreneur. Step 1
There are several types of overdraft: standard; advance (provided to prospective clients in order to attract a current account for servicing in this particular bank); for collection (issued if the client's collection turnover is at least 75% of the funds passing through the account); technical (issued only for guaranteed receipt of funds to the client's account, for example, return of a term deposit, transactions on the currency exchange).
Step 2
The main requirements that you must meet in order to receive an overdraft limit on a current account: work experience in the type of activity for at least a year; using bank services for at least 6 months; you must have non-zero turnovers on the account; funds must be credited to your accounts at least 3 times a week (except for the advance type of overdraft); your account must not have a filing cabinet (unpaid payment slips).
Step 3
To obtain an overdraft, you need to provide the constituent documents of the organization (a copy of the charter, an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, a decision on the choice of the general director, copies of the passport of the director and chief accountant). In addition, you may be asked to provide a certificate of turnover on accounts with other banks; certificate of absence of debt on loans from banks, where you may have opened current accounts. To obtain a technical overdraft, in addition to all the listed documents, you will need to have an application for its provision. In the application, describe the operations for which you expect the receipt of funds to your current account, attach supporting documents (payment orders, contracts).

The overdraft limit is calculated individually. Its calculation is influenced by the following factors: account turnover, duration of your cooperation with this bank, etc. Each type has its own calculation method. The limits on issued and newly issued overdrafts are reviewed by the bank on average once a month.
