Unfortunately, the creative profession doesn't always pay well. What should a young beginner musician who does not have a permanent income do? There is always a way out - you can earn extra money by playing a musical instrument in your free time.
Instructions
Step 1
Place an ad in a newspaper or on the corresponding website (bulletin board) on the Internet that you provide musical accompaniment for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, children's parties. In general, any event where music is required. Pick up a partner, or better, several people playing different musical instruments. This will increase demand and you will receive more orders. Don't raise the price of your services too high. There are quite a few like you, which speaks of high competition. Remember that it is better to receive less, but receive in general, than to sit and wait "by the sea." If you are a beginner musician and are just learning, then in addition to earning money, you also hone your skills. Reduce the price even further, and it will be a guarantee of the successful development of your music career.
Step 2
Find people who want to study music and give them private lessons. Remember that music is most often learned at a young age. Therefore, offer your services to parents or relatives in schools and kindergartens. Find teachers you know and ask them to talk about you at the parents' meeting. Unless you charge a fantastic price for your services, your "employment" is guaranteed. Also, your talent may be interested in a music school and take you there as a teacher. This option is preferable because you yourself will be able to offer additional classes to your students and still receive a salary for working with a music class.
Step 3
Organize a band and try out your own songs. This is how many bands started. Of course, not everyone managed to reach the top of the iceberg of popularity, but provided that you play well, you are guaranteed a stable income on the stages of restaurants and cafes.
