Step 1

Step 2

The maternity allowance will be calculated from the average earnings for 24 months. A certificate of incapacity for work can be paid at all places of work of an employee. Earnings are divided by 730 days, not 365 as it was before. The time spent on sick leave and unpaid leave is thrown out of the total earnings. If there was parental leave before maternity leave, then another year can be taken to calculate the average earnings.

Step 3

An obligation has been introduced to issue certificates of a special form to the worker. They can be requested from 2009 onwards. Upon dismissal, this certificate is issued without fail. It indicates the amount of earnings and work experience for calculating temporary disability benefits.

Step 4

At the expense of the employer, 3 days of the allowance are paid, and not 2 days, as it was before.

Step 5

The amount of benefits for the certificate of incapacity for work can be calculated and paid from all employers at the place of employment of the worker.

Step 6

If there is no seniority, then the allowance will be calculated according to the minimum wage.
