The concept of "closing a loan" includes premature, early repayment of debt on a loan. This is possible under the current Russian legislation in accordance with Art. 810 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, "unless otherwise provided by the loan agreement, the amount of the interest-free loan may be returned by the borrower ahead of schedule."

It is necessary

  • - a copy of the loan agreement certified by a notary;
  • -information about the residual amount of the payment received in the credit department of the bank where you took out a loan;
  • -Application for early repayment of the loan.

Instructions

Step 1

In the credit department of the bank where you took the loan, document the employee with the remaining amount of the payment to close the loan, as well as the recalculation of interest on this amount. When repaying a loan, be sure to pay attention to whether a penalty for such an action is spelled out in the loan agreement. Make sure that the percentage is recalculated taking into account the less time for using bank money than is prescribed in the contract.

Step 2

Based on the documents you received, make the last payment only at the bank from which you took the loan (using a cashier or terminal). In order to avoid further highly probable complications, do not make the last payment either by mail or any other bank.

Step 3

After your last payment arrives at the bank account, write a free-form application for early repayment of your loan.

Step 4

Be sure to take a certificate from the credit department of the bank, certified by all possible seals, that you have repaid the loan, and the bank has no claims against you.

Step 5

Within a month, you should receive an official letter to the post office stating that the bank struck you off the general list of debtors.
