Today you will not surprise anyone with such an educational institution as a gymnasium. However, the schools, on the basis of which gymnasiums are usually opened, are currently facing higher requirements than, say, 15-20 years ago.
Instructions
Step 1
Conduct a meeting of the school's pedagogical team and invite teachers to take part in the development of the charter of the future gymnasium, as well as new educational programs, taking into account all modern requirements for education and the profile in which the newly organized educational institution will specialize. Develop a plan for the scientific work of the gymnasium.
Step 2
Contact the Department of Education with the minutes of the meeting of the pedagogical team and inform the administration about the upcoming reorganization of the educational institution. Check all the standards for the formation of such an institution (for example, staffing, conditions of admission, class size, workload, etc.). Agree with the department all costs for the material and technical equipment of educational and scientific work.
Step 3
Conduct another teaching staff meeting with members of the parent committee and representatives from the Department of Education. Tell us about what you plan to do to transform the school into a gymnasium. Listen to suggestions and objections. Invite the teaching staff to take part in the development of the curriculum of the gymnasium, taking into account all standards, as well as possible proposals for the inclusion of additional academic disciplines in the plan. Announce the upcoming re-certification of teachers.
Step 4
Re-certify teachers. Based on its results, draw up a new staffing table and announce, if necessary, a competition to fill the vacant positions of teachers of the first and highest categories. Invite teachers in additional disciplines as well.
Step 5
Check out the new curriculum and submit it to the Department of Education for review. Programs must be certified.
Step 6
Purchase all the necessary equipment and literature for educational and scientific work. To optimize the learning process in the gymnasium, you may need to re-equip some premises in the school building, which must be agreed with the city administration.
Step 7
Contact the Department of Education for a new license to provide educational services. The license must indicate the name of the educational institution - “school-gymnasium”.
Step 8
Announce the admission of students to the gymnasium on a competitive basis. Create an official website where you post all the regulatory documents of the educational institution. Order letterhead with the new logo for your educational institution.
Step 9
To obtain accreditation, you need your gymnasium to have existed in this capacity for at least 5 years. Only after receiving accreditation can you also renew your license, which will indicate “gymnasium”.
