Anyone can buy shares of OJSC - open joint stock company. Buying shares of an OJSC, you, as it were, become its co-owner, although you have a small number of them. Shares are purchased on stock exchanges through brokers with whom contracts are concluded. You can act differently - invest in stocks through specialized funds.
Instructions
Step 1
Before buying a stock, try to understand what state the stock market is in now and which stocks are worth buying and which are not. It is not difficult for a beginner to do this, since there are a lot of sites showing stock quotes. For example, you can use this site here
Step 2
Remember that it is profitable to buy shares when they fall, that is, when they lose value. When their price rises, you will be able to earn accordingly. Try to choose well-known stocks as they are more reliable.
Step 3
Once you begin to understand what is happening in the stock market, find a broker who will directly buy stocks for you. It is best to hire it from a reputable brokerage firm. Broker services are paid, as a rule, as a percentage of the completed transaction.
Step 4
Sign an agreement with a broker. Its essence will be that you can, by phone or the Internet, instruct the broker to buy certain shares, transferring money in advance to an account opened for this. The broker, accordingly, will purchase shares for you through a trader who is directly involved in the purchase and sale of securities on the exchange.
Step 5
After completing the transaction, you will be sent a written report on the purchased shares. Your name will be entered in the register of JSC as its shareholder.
Step 6
For those who do not want to act through a broker, there is another way - investing in a mutual fund of shares. This is the easiest way of investing for a layman: you simply choose a fund and transfer the amount of the first installment to its account (usually it starts from 15,000 rubles, but there are funds where you can invest even smaller amounts). Investment managers invest your money in shares of various JSCs, forming an investment portfolio. Thus, you become the owner of shares of many companies at once.
