Instructions

Step 1

Make a business plan for a future animal clinic or pharmacy. Determine the cost of implementing the project. In order for a clinic or pharmacy to quickly occupy a worthy niche in the market of veterinary services, they will require significant funds to open, so you will need to decide on the sources of financing for the project.

Step 2

Study all regulations governing the activities of veterinary institutions and find out the requirements for the sanitary condition, personnel and equipment of veterinary clinics and pharmacies.

Step 3

Rent a room for a veterinary clinic or pharmacy. Often, veterinary clinics also have a pharmacy. The clinic usually requires an operating room as well. Therefore, depending on what kind of veterinary services you are going to provide, decide on the size of the room. It is not difficult to find premises for a veterinary institution of any scale, since in many cities there are still a large number of empty buildings that do not require significant investments in repair and construction work.

Step 4

Purchase equipment, tools and medicines. When buying them, do not save money and conclude contracts only with serious manufacturers, because good suppliers will be able to provide you with discounts on veterinary goods or provide quality equipment maintenance in the future.

Step 5

Announce a competition to fill vacancies for specialists in a clinic or pharmacy. When interviewing, take into account the work experience of applicants for positions, the availability of diplomas and certificates. In addition, your future employees must love animals.

Step 6

Call the representatives of Rospotrebnadzor so that they issue an appropriate conclusion on the sanitary and technical condition of the premises, on the available equipment and personnel.

Step 7

In order to obtain a license for veterinary activities, contact the Rosselkhoznadzor with the following documents: - constituent documents of an individual entrepreneur or LLC;

- OGRN;

- certificate of registration with the tax authorities;

- lease agreement and certificate of ownership or a certified copy (must be obtained from the lessor);

- positive conclusion of Rospotrebnadzor;

- cadastral passport and floor plan;

- diplomas of higher or secondary veterinary or pharmaceutical education (yours or your employees);

- certified copies of work books and other documents confirming work experience in this industry (at least 3 years);

- certificates of advanced training, as well as certificates for the provision of various veterinary services (yours or your employees).

Step 8

Obtain a license within 30 days from the date of submission of documents. It will be valid for 5 years.
