Sberbank today has a wide range of bank deposits. They differ from each other in functionality, goals and timing of the placement of funds, as well as interest rates.
Instructions
Step 1
The interest paid on Sberbank deposits varies depending on the term of the deposit. The lowest rate is set for demand deposits - from 0.1%. The savings account also has low rates - from 1.5 to 2.3%. They depend on the amount of the balance - if it is less than 30 thousand rubles, the interest is charged at the minimum rate, over 3 million rubles. - at the maximum. But on the other hand, these deposits allow you to freely dispose of funds, to deposit and withdraw cash from the account at any time.
Step 2
For fixed-term deposits, there are restrictions on operations with accounts, money is placed on them for a strictly specified period - from 3 months or more. Of course, the depositor can withdraw money in advance, but then he will not earn anything on his account. The highest rate is set for "Save" deposits. They cannot be used to replenish and withdraw money during the period of the deposit. The maximum percentage on it is set at 7.76 (minimum - 4.4). It is valid only for deposits from 2 million rubles. and for a maximum period of 3 years. At the request of the depositor, capitalization of interest can be carried out. It involves adding the amount of accrued interest to the deposit. But interest can be paid to the client on a monthly basis.
Step 3
Also in Sberbank there is a special contribution "Give Life", in which 0.3% of the amount of interest is transferred to help children with cancer and hematological diseases. The interest rate on it, taking into account capitalization, is set at 6.56%. The interest on the deposit is calculated every three months. Conditions for it are the same as for deposits "Save" - no deposits and withdrawals from the account during the validity period.
Step 4
"Replenish" deposits are provided for creating savings. They enable the depositor to replenish the deposit. The ruble interest rate ranges from 4.60 to 7.28%. The minimum amount for replenishing an account is 1000 rubles, with non-cash replenishment it is not limited.
Step 5
The greatest freedom of action for the depositor is provided by the "Manage" deposit. It allows you to make deposits and withdrawals. But the depositor will have to pay for this with a lower interest rate. It ranges from 4 to 6.68%, i.e. almost 1 pp less savings deposit.
Step 6
In addition to rubles in Sberbank, you can open a currency deposit. On such deposits, the interest rate will be significantly lower. So, on the deposit "Save" in dollars or euros, it will be 2.33%, "Replenish" - 2.11%, "Manage" - 1.9%. In a multicurrency deposit, the depositor has the opportunity to receive additional income from fluctuations in exchange rates. The contribution assumes the presence of a component in rubles, dollars and euros. Interest rates on them are 6.21 and 1.78, respectively.
Step 7
"International" deposit involves opening an account in currencies exotic for Russia. In this case, you can choose a deposit in Japanese yen with a rate of up to 2.25%, Swiss francs - up to 2.5% or pounds sterling - up to 3.25%.
