You can terminate an employment contract concluded between an entrepreneur and his employee on the grounds provided for by labor legislation. Such grounds are universal, that is, they are common to all cases of termination of labor relations and are contained in Art. 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

An individual entrepreneur can say goodbye to an employee in connection with the expiration of the employment agreement, at the request of the employee, at the initiative of the entrepreneur, or by their joint agreement.

In addition, the employee may not want to move with the employer to another locality or transfer to another position due to the reduction of the old one, which is also the basis for his dismissal.

If the employee has decided to quit of his own free will, he must notify the entrepreneur about this in writing 14 calendar days before the date of dismissal.

It is possible to dismiss an employee on the initiative of an entrepreneur - employer only in the cases provided for in Art. 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. All grounds for dismissal at the initiative of the employer can be divided into two groups: for misconduct, for example, absenteeism, theft at work, etc. and grounds for dismissal that are not related to the employee's disciplinary offenses, for example, the closure of an individual entrepreneur.

Under no circumstances can an employee be fired while he is on vacation or on sick leave.

An entrepreneur must draw up an order to terminate an employment contract in accordance with the unified form No. T-8. Such an order must contain the grounds for dismissal with reference to the article of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and the document on the basis of which the order is issued, for example, an employee's statement, a medical report, a report, etc.

In addition, the entrepreneur must make an entry in his personal card, issue a work book with a note of dismissal and make payments to the employee.
