When carrying out a complete inventory of the warehouse, you should be guided by a pre-drawn plan that involves the implementation of this event once a quarter, every six months or annually. The basis for the inventory is the contract or the initiative of the owner. Before the start of the inventory, it is required to carry out a set of preparatory measures.

Instructions

Step 1

Reconcile warehouse and owner accounting systems.

Step 2

Organize item placement to provide access for identification and recount.

Step 3

Goods belonging to different accounting zones must be geographically segregated (goods from the main warehouse; goods prepared for repair; rejects, etc.).

Step 4

Highlight the miscalculation zones in the warehouse and number them. Mark out the extreme points of the zones to exclude their intersection.

Step 5

Clean the warehouse area.

Step 6

Check all documents on the movement of goods no later than the set time.

Step 7

Prepare and issue an order (order) on the organization and conduct of inventory in the warehouse.

Step 8

Prepare and print data on balances from the accounting system, filling them out in the form of a statement. In the statement, indicate the time and date of its preparation, the article, the name of the product, the model or type, the number of defective products, and the storage location. Responsible persons sign the remainder of the goods.

Step 9

Ensure the termination of the movement of goods in the warehouse during the full inventory, starting from the time specified in the order.

Step 10

Assign staff to be recounted by dividing them into two shifts and inventory teams. There should be two people in the inventory group - one carries out the identification and calculation of the goods, and the second fills in the inventory. Assign control over the actions of shifts to a special employee, endowing him with the appropriate powers.

Step 11

Distribute the inventory zones into inventory groups to ensure complete counting for all areas of the warehouse. Create a separate inventory list for each zone. The inventory area is calculated by only one inventory group.

Step 12

The inventory group provides an inventory in one copy based on the results of the miscalculation. The inventory is signed by all members of the group and handed over to the responsible person. The responsible person draws up a register of inventories with an indication of the time of their submission and the persons who made the inventory.
