According to Russian law, after the birth of a second child, a woman can receive maternity capital. It is issued in the form of a certificate and is intended for targeted spending. However, it is possible to cash out part or all of the capital.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out if you are eligible to receive and use maternity capital. To do this, you must have two or more children, one of whom was born after January 1, 2007. Please note that you can receive such a payment only once in a lifetime. You can start using the capital after the youngest child reaches the age of three.
Step 2
Use your home purchase certificate. By law, you can buy housing equal to the amount of the payments, for example, a house in a village or urban-type settlement. It is also possible to purchase an apartment at a higher price, but in this case you will have to make an advance payment. It is simply best to choose the cheapest option for cashing out money. You can also use maternity capital to exchange existing housing for more expensive ones.
Step 3
Sell an apartment purchased with maternity capital. This way you can get the bulk of your capital in cash. But keep in mind that this way of getting money will be very expensive. In addition to the commission to the realtor, you will also need to pay a tax of 13% of the cost of housing. This system works if you sold the apartment less than three years after the purchase.
Step 4
Please note that when selling, you will have to obtain permission from the guardianship and guardianship authorities to dispose of housing where children are registered. However, if they live in a different place, and not in a newly purchased apartment offered for sale, there will be no problems with this service.
