In Russia, there are categories of citizens applying for a monthly cash payment. You can issue it by contacting the branch of the Pension Fund at your place of residence.
Features of the calculation of EDV
Monthly cash payment - a special subsidy provided to veterans, disabled people affected by radiation and some other categories of citizens. The latter include former underage prisoners of fascist concentration camps, holders of the title of Hero of the Russian Federation or the USSR, as well as the Order of Glory of three degrees. In addition, family members of deceased holders of the listed honorary awards have the right to receive the EDV; children who became disabled before reaching the age of majority, as well as persons under the age of 23 who are studying in educational institutions in full-time.
The list of categories of citizens applying for a monthly cash payment is formed by the government of the Russian Federation and posted on the official website of the Pension Fund https://www.pfrf.ru. The amount of payments is also formed by the government and at the moment is:
- 5054, 11 rubles for disabled veterans;
- 2780, 74 rubles for residents of besieged Leningrad and veterans of the Great Patriotic War;
- 2527, 06 rubles for victims of radiation exposure and disabled children;
- 59591, 94 rubles for persons holding the title of hero of the country, and bearers of honorary awards.
In accordance with the law, every citizen has the right to receive several subsidies at once, if he belongs to the relevant categories.
How to issue an EDV
A monthly cash payment is assigned only after contacting the territorial body of the PFR at the place of residence (or place of stay or actual residence, if the citizen does not have a confirmed registration of the place of residence). Pensioners wishing to additionally apply for a monthly payment should contact the Pension Fund branch at the location of the payment case.
If it is necessary to assign a monthly cash payment to an incapacitated or minor, his parents or guardian have the right to submit an application. Minors who have reached the age of 14 can apply for an ELL on their own.
Currently, citizens have access to the opportunity to apply for subsidies both during a personal visit to the territorial body of the PFR, and in electronic form through the website https://www.gosuslugi.ru. In addition to a written statement demanding that a specific person establish the monthly amount due to him, the following documents must be submitted:
- passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation or other identity document;
- a valid residence permit if the person is officially registered outside the Russian Federation and does not have Russian citizenship;
- documents that serve as confirmation of the right to receive an EDV (certificate of medical and social examination, certificate of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, etc.).
If required, it is necessary to attach documents proving the authority and identity of the legal representative of the applicant for EDV (in relation to minors and incapacitated persons). A detailed list of documentation required for various categories of citizens is posted on the official website of the Russian Pension Fund. Changes are made to it annually, so it is important to familiarize yourself with the current regulations before contacting the FIU.
Verification of documents by PFR employees can take up to one month, and if approved, a monthly cash payment is assigned directly from the day of applying for it. In this case, the timing of the emergence and validity of the right to the corresponding subsidy must be observed. In the event of circumstances affecting the change in the amount of the monthly income or entailing the termination of payments, citizens are obliged to immediately report this to the local authority of the Pension Fund of Russia in order to avoid problems with legislation.
