Step 1
On November 3, 2004, Moscow City Law No. 67 “On Monthly Child Benefit” came into force. The scope of this legislative document applies to citizens of the Russian Federation, as well as to foreign citizens and stateless persons who are registered in the territory of this city. At the same time, those people whose children are fully supported by the state, as well as parents who are deprived of all rights to a baby, cannot count on benefits.
Step 2
In order to receive a monthly child allowance, contact the department of social protection of the population of the districts of the city of Moscow, which is assigned the place of residence of one of the parents or guardian. However, before that it is necessary to collect all the documents.
Step 3
In particular, write a statement in which you provide the following information:
Family composition;
Place of residence of the parents (guardian) and the child;
The income level of each family member.
Step 4
Also prepare documents with which you can confirm the specified information. So, for example, this is a marriage certificate, registration or residence permit, a work book or a certificate from the place of work, etc.
Step 5
Submit the collected papers to the department of social protection of the population. Wait for an answer. According to Russian law, this state body is obliged to consider your application within 10 days. However, he reserves the right to check the accuracy of the information contained in the documents. If you have additional questions from the management, collect additional papers. If the department has problems with verifying the specified data, you will receive a corresponding notification. The final decision on the refusal or assignment of monthly child support must be made by the state authorities within 30 days.
Step 6
In case of refusal of this management, contact the superior body of social protection of the population of the city of Moscow or the city court.
