The Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation plans to pass in the first reading a bill on raising the retirement age in Russia by the end of the spring session (by the end of July 2018). It is planned to raise the retirement age for women to 63 years, and for men to 65 years. That is, the "gray" salary in an envelope does not affect the increase in seniority.

The Law also regulates the procedure for calculating seniority and outlines the procedures for confirming it (if necessary).

In addition to work, there are also other periods that count towards seniority. For example, parental leave. The list of such periods is clearly stated in the Law.

The size of pension payments is stated in Chapter 14 of Law No. FZ-173. This chapter is perhaps the most extensive and most important.
