Pension benefits for seniority are issued to certain categories of citizens whose work leads to the loss of professional fitness or ability to work before entering the retirement age. Currently, according to the current pension legislation, servicemen, federal government employees, flight test personnel and cosmonauts have the right to apply for a seniority pension.
Instructions
Step 1
Write a written application for the appointment of a seniority pension, addressed to the Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, after the onset of the right to it. Collect the package of documents required for submission to the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation: a photocopy of the passport; work book or other document confirming work experience and certified by the last employer; certificate of average monthly earnings within 60 months prior to application submission; residence document on the territory of the Russian Federation; certificate of disability or disability, if any; certificate of the presence of dependent family members who are unable to work.
Step 2
Submit an application and prepared documents to the HR department of the PF RF branch at the place of residence. Check that the Pension Fund employee has entered the current admission date on the application. Employees of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation are obliged to check the documents submitted for authenticity and correctness within a month.
Step 3
Receive a receipt-notification, which will indicate the date of receipt of your application and a list of missing documents, indicating the timing of their submission. Employees of the RF PF request some additional documents at your place of work on their own. If all additions are provided within three months from the date of registration of the application, then this date will be set as the day of applying for a seniority pension. Otherwise, the terms will be revised.
Step 4
Expect within a month the decision on the granting of a seniority pension or the refusal to appoint it. Within 5 days from the date of adoption of such a decision by the PF RF, you will receive a written notification indicating the reasons for the refusal. You have the right to appeal this decision in court. In case of a positive decision, you will be provided with a written notification of the appointment indicating the calculation of the amount of the pension.
