Pension card is a banking product that makes it as easy as possible to receive a pension. You don't have to stand in line with her or wait for the postman on certain days. And you don't have to withdraw cash to make a purchase. You can pay by card on the Internet and in many stores.
It is necessary
- - passport;
- - pensioner's ID;
- - an application to the branch of the Pension Fund to transfer money to a bank card.
Instructions
Step 1
First, select the bank where you would like to get a pension card. The most popular among domestic pensioners is Sberbank of the Russian Federation, but it is not the only credit institution offering such a service. Evaluate the convenience of the location of offices of various banks, customer reviews, tariffs (often the issue and annual maintenance of pension cards are free), interest accrued on the account balance, the location of ATMs, the possibility of interest-free cash withdrawals in the country and abroad (if health and funds allow you to travel or to move to another country for good, the opportunity to use a Russian pension without adjusting for geography will not be superfluous at all).
Step 2
During business hours, visit the nearest office of the selected bank. Sberbank prefers to issue its cards to clients registered in the service area of a particular branch. In other credit institutions there is no such restriction, so you can feel free to contact anyone.
Step 3
When applying for a pension card, bank employees will most likely want to see not only your passport, but also your pension certificate. You can fill out an application for issuing a card directly at a bank branch, having received it from an operator, in some you can do it online on the website or download an application, fill it out on a computer and print it out. The down payment is usually not required when applying for a pension card.
Step 4
Then you will also have to visit the branch of the Pension Fund serving your registration address and write an application for the transfer of the pension to your bank card. Usually, the account number is sufficient for this, but just in case, ask the bank employees to give you full details as well. The application form will be given to you directly at the branch.
Step 5
After that, it remains, within the term specified by the bank's employees, to visit the branch where you applied and receive a ready-made card (its production takes no more than a week) and wait for the first transfer of your pension due to it.
