Most banks do not provide loans to pensioners. Despite the good financial discipline inherent in this category of borrowers, such loans are poorly secured.
It is necessary
- - passport;
- - pensioner's ID;
- - certificate 2-NDFL, the amount of pension (certificate in the form of the bank);
- - other documents requested by the bank.
Instructions
Step 1
Today, retirees can get almost any loan on the Russian market. Among them are consumer loans, they even have access to car loans and mortgages. The main thing is that they manage to meet the payments before the age limit set by the banks. Some banks also offer credit cards, but most retirees prefer cash. The specificity of lending to pensioners is the limited amount and term of the loan.
Step 2
Many Russian pensioners continue to work after retirement. It is easiest for this category of citizens to get a loan, as they can prove their income. In order to take out a loan for a pensioner, it is not necessary to look for special programs directly for this population group. It is worth paying attention to the requirements of banks to borrowers, in particular, to the maximum age of the borrower at the time of loan repayment. So, in the Renaissance loan at the time of receiving the loan, the pensioner must not be over 65 years old, in the Bank of Moscow the borrower must repay the loan up to 70 years. The maximum age for a borrower is set today in Sovcombank (here loans are given to borrowers up to 85 years old), Eurokommerts (up to 81 years old), Sberbank and Rosselkhozbank (up to 75 years old). But some banks do not take into account the age of borrowers, because they issue loans with the involvement of guarantors. In the event of the death of the borrower, they will bear the entire burden of credit payments.
Step 3
If a pensioner only has a pension as income, it will be more difficult for him to get a loan. Since not all banks accept certificates of the assigned amount of pension as a document confirming income. But some have special loan programs for retirees. Among them are Sberbank, Sovcombank, Rosselkhozbank, Ak-Bars.
Step 4
The maximum loan amount for pensioners is currently offered by Sberbank (up to 3 million rubles), while others are limited to smaller loan amounts. For example, in Rosselkhozbank - up to 550 thousand rubles, Sovcombank - up to 250 thousand rubles, Ak-Bars - up to 200 thousand rubles. This amount may be enough to improve living conditions or purchase a car. As a rule, in order to receive large amounts, it is necessary to attract several guarantors and provide collateral.
Step 5
A relatively new product on the Russian market is "reverse mortgage", which allows a pensioner to improve his material well-being by receiving monthly payments for his apartment. This experimental program was developed by AHML.
