Step 1

Start by laying off workers. The most difficult case in this situation is carrying out such actions, when the staff of the enterprise is not limited by the presence of the chief accountant and the head (according to the law, these positions are entitled to combine the same person, including the founder of the company himself). It should be borne in mind that downsizing is the most costly option for parting with company employees. It is also possible to use a compromise option - the dismissal of employees by agreement of the parties.

Step 2

Do not use options such as forced dismissal "of your own free will", for example, for unpaid leave or some kind of violation of labor discipline. These actions will be considered illegal.

Step 3

In turn, it is also not easy to deal with the chief accountant and the head of the company (or both of them in a single person, if the positions are combined). These positions, while the company exists according to the documents, must be closed. In this case, when the director is changed, a general meeting of the founders must be held. At it, with the help of a common decision, the participants in the meeting must not only relieve the actor from his post, but also appoint a new one. Without this, it will be impossible to make the appropriate changes to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. It often happens that the main person of the company, who plans to suspend the activities of the enterprise, sends himself on unpaid indefinite leave.

Step 4

Please note that even an indefinite leave will not be able to relieve the director of the company from the duties of timely submission of financial statements (even zero). Also, this circumstance does not relieve the manager of responsibility for failure to fulfill his duties. In turn, to comply with all formalities, you can use the services of third-party organizations.

Step 5

Consider liquidating the business. After all, if necessary, you can establish a new one. In turn, in case of suspension of the company's activities, another significant expense item will be its legal address. It is good if this is the address of residence of one of the founders. In other cases, you will have to spend monthly at least for renting a room.
