The phrase "credit history" has already entered into our everyday life. However, this concept remains somewhat vague - what is contained in it, what affects it. In fact, everything is simple …

What is a credit history and where can I find it?
What is a credit history and where can I find it?

What information is contained in the credit history

1. Personal information (last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth, passport data, TIN, SNILS).

2. Data on loans, and not only relevant, but also closed. Delays in loan payments, late payments for utilities, etc. are also indicated. (if their collection was in court).

3. Data on organizations that issued loans, as well as all transfers of rights for claims of debt, if any.

4. Data on all requests for loans with an indication of the organizations in which you applied for it. Also in this part of your credit dossier there is information about refusals (and reasons for refusals) in a loan. Also here you can find notes about small delays in loan payments.

Where are the credit histories

All credit histories of citizens are kept in the credit bureaus, of which there are currently 17. Their addresses can be found on the website of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (cbr.ru). The credit history of a particular individual can be found in any of them or even in several at the same time.

How information is transferred to credit bureaus

The information is transmitted in accordance with the Federal Law (Federal Law) "On Credit Histories" by the creditors, and with the written consent of the credited person. If such consent is obtained, the lender, within ten days after the occurrence of the conditioned event, transfers the data that is needed to create a credit history to the credit history bureau.

Credit history is kept in the bureau for 10 years after the last change in the "dossier".
